There’s no perfect church—
but we know a perfect Savior.
First off — hi! We’re glad you’re here.
What’s a Sunday like at CBC? Here are some things you might be wondering about—
Tell me about the service.
Our service starts at 10:30 a.m. and lasts about an hour and a half. We sing together, hear a sermon based on the Bible, and share praises and prayer requests as a congregation. Dress comfortably—some attendees wear jeans, others business casual.
Is there a children’s program?
Yes! As part of forming children in the faith, we love to have them join us for singing and prayer as a large group with the congregation. Children’s Church for babies through middle school begins after congregational singing and prayer time. Kids are dismissed to their classes before the sermon starts. Children are taught Bible stories and core theological truths through engaging lessons.
Anything else I should know?
Depending on the week, we may be participating in communion or have a potluck following service.
We do not take up an offering, but do have an offering box available for giving at the back of the worship center, if you wish.
Prayer and praise time is sometimes 5 minutes and sometimes 20 minutes—it just depends on what people have in their hearts that day. We seek to listen compassionately and to really pray for each person as an act of care.
