Who we are.
A small community of people in Cumming, Georgia, who want to glorify God, experience Christ, and be led by the Holy Spirit. We exist to help people to pursue their deepest joy by loving and following Jesus.
What we believe.
The authority and inerrancy of Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16).
The Trinity – the Godhead eternally exists in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:18-19).
The full deity and humanity of Christ (John 1:1,14).
The human race is sinful and spiritually separated from God (Romans 3:23; 6:23; Ephesians 2:1-3).
The substitutionary atonement and bodily resurrection of Christ (Romans 5:6,8; 8:11;14:9; 1 Peter 3:18)
Salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 John 5:11-12).
The physical return of Christ (John 14:1-3; Revelation 19:11-19).
Why it matters.
We have great hope and we want to share it with others — in our own church, our community, and throughout the world. CBC members are involved in a wide variety of social issues, from adoption and education to international missions, hospital visits, and prison outreach.
