Our Missionaries

Miriam Kaiser serves in Bolivia with SIM and YoungLife. She disciples teens and young adults, and actively plans camps and other activities allow young people to engage their spiritual lives. She was raised at CBC.

Woody and Kelly Lewis serve with Avant in the USA. They teach through a YouTube outreach, counsel and equip Hispanic pastors, do Bible conferences among Hispanic churches, and maintain evangelistic sensitivity toward those they meet daily.

Steve and Joyce Louie serve at Biblical Ministries Worldwide’s headquarters in the USA. Joyce is the Finance Manager and Steve is the Board Relations Manager and Accounting Coordinator, serving and supporting BMW’s missionaries around the world. They have been members of CBC for over 20 years.

Tim and Andra Petersen and their family serve at Forest Springs Camp and Conference Center in the USA  which is a year-round camp and conference center. Tim is the director of their Adventure Ministries department. Andra shares leadership in the Handcraft program. Tim was raised at CBC.

Gene and Martha Purvis serve with Avant in the USA, with present ministries including mentoring Hispanic pastors and church leaders in the U.S., Colombia and Mexico; teaching, preaching, and local outreach. They also serve on the executive board of Iglesia Latina of Perry, Georgia.

Paul and Kathy Schmidt have served with Wycliffe Bible Translators for forty years, assisting numerous Bible Translation Projects in Africa as well as Asia. Paul's current assignment is with The Seed Company as a Translation Consultant, working primarily in Asia. They currently reside near Dallas, TX and have four adult daughters and four grandchildren.
